The Neighborhood of Haywood Knolls, Hendersonville NC
Haywood Knolls is an older neighborhood of homes started in 1979 by builder Donald Thompson. It is situated on over 400 acres and the beauty of Haywood Knolls is that homes are on large wooded lots (an average of one acre) with privacy. And yet this true mountain community is about as friendly as it gets. After moving in, don’t be surprised by visits from neighbors welcoming you to the neighborhood.
Cummings Cove has some of the best views in Henderson County, with mountains peeking through the trees in valleys, and grande long range views from higher elevations within the community. Driving through winding mountain roads, you will see these views along with beautifully landscaped yards and green spaces within the community.
Cummings Cove is a meticulously maintained neighborhood with a top notch 18 hole golf course. The Clubhouse is the center of the community, with a lodge style design overlooking the golf course on one side, and west facing on the other for spectacular sunset mountain views. Here you will find a town within a town, that really has everything.
If you are looking for a quiet neighborhood with large yards and older well built homes, English Hills is is a great place to start your search. Located just south of Downtown Hendersonville about two miles, English Hills is off of Kanuga Road. Once in the neighborhood, you will find nice wide streets with some long range views and meticulously maintained landscaping.
Built in the mid 1970′s, there are 59 homes. Lots in English Hills average around one acre, and most are fairly level, but not all. The majority of them have brick siding, so there is little exterior maintenance.These homes in general are very large and roomy with plenty of storage space. They are well built, solid homes. Most are a ranch style, and some have a basement. Homes tend to be unique from one another, with a wide variety to pick from.

Dunroy on Rutledge is a beautiful newer community, located near the heart of Historic Flat Rock. If location is what you are looking for, this is a great community. It is close to shopping and fine dining, and close to many Arts and Cultural Events. Yet this beautiful mountain community is private, and has stunning views.
Charlestown Place is located between Historic Downtown Hendersonville and Historic Flat Rock off Scenic Highway 225. Here you will find a quiet community of fifty-two townhomes tucked between older established neighborhoods with mature trees.
